# Token Launch & Governance Window

AETHRA’s token launch and governance framework are designed to balance initial liquidity with long-term, community-driven decision-making.

## Token Launch (LBP)

* **Launch Date** – January 6, 2025
* **Mechanism** – Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP)

The initial AETHRA token distribution was conducted via a Balancer-style LBP, optimizing for fair price discovery and wide community access.\
Token allocations follow the published Tokenomics Schedule with unlocks governed by a phased vesting model.

## Governance Launch – vAETHRA

* **Target Launch Window** – TBD (post-MVP rollout)
* **Purpose** – AETHRA holders will be able to **lock tokens** in exchange for **vAETHRA**, a non-transferable governance token used to vote on major platform proposals.

The governance window will begin shortly after MVP launch and onboarding completes, allowing early adopters and contributors to shape the platform's direction.

## Governance Parameters

* **Quorum Requirement** – 15% of vAETHRA supply must participate for a vote to be valid
* **Approval Threshold** – 66% “yes” votes (of votes cast) required for proposal passage
